At present (Feb. 21, 2012) the links on the opening page of the actual Spring Log-N-Beads don't work so just use the links at the left of the page (in white on a black background strip).

Hey, Brigitte – could you send this out to every Gilwellian you know, as well as placing it on your “unofficial” Gilwell Reunion site? We’d like to get the word out to as many people as we can before this year’s Reunion ! Thanks!

" Many of you may remember that North Waterloo used to have a Teddy Bear giveaway. We called them Charlie Bears and they were Teddy Bears made up in Gilwell fashion complete with Beads and a necker! These bears were a trade mark for Charlie Hammer and he only made 2 a year, so they were a highly valued prize! Charlie has Gone Home and we would like to honour his memory by donating Teddy Bears to the ( Kitchener , ON ) Grand River Hospital Pediatric Ward. If you remember Charlie and would like to donate a Teddy Bear please bring it to the North Waterloo marquee during Reunion . If you were ever lucky enough to win a Charlie Bear, feel free to bring it and show it off at your marquee at Reunion this year. We would Love to see them!  Thanks! "
